After several years of experience in residential construction and participating in contracts which installed temporary housing units for disaster recovery, Beverly G. Williams sought to find an alternative solution to “FEMA trailers”. She wanted a product that could be easily expanded into permanent housing, which would give FEMA the opportunity to “sell” the units and recover some of their spending.
